My EE used to fly onto my arm for treats. One time I had nice clothes on and didn't want her on my arm, so I held my arms close in to my body. She flew up and landed on my head instead. I always made sure I had an arm available after that. I lost her last summer to internal laying at 4 1/2 years old.

I had a Barnevelder pullet that liked to fly up to be held too. It was like " Ready or not, here I am!" And you had to catch her in mid air, LOL. Sadly she was too "smart" for her own good. She learned how to climb/ fly out of the run and a coyote got her:(

That happens every time!

They are adorable alibra.

So for those of you that went to the show, what breeds really tempted you? For me, it was definitely the bantam ducks. The large fowl ducks seem like too much for me (I don't like eating duck), but the bantams really caught my eye. Next were the Bantam Vorwerks. I don't have room for another chicken breed, but I thought they were beautiful. (and I just love a rare breed)

The bantam ducks were pretty cute!
I still like mille fleur d'uccles, and splash anything. And sizzles are so silly they are adorable. :)

I don't mind it when the bantams fly up to my shoulder and tell me about their day. It's another story when the 5 pound wyandotte launches at me, maybe she has learned that I drop the treat cup when I try and catch her.
My CA Grey and one of my EEs will fly onto my shoulder or head when I am sitting. I love it but if it was one of my bigger girls that would be a surprise

I am sorry. I remembered you talking about her on another thread. Did you figure out it was internal laying after she passed? I have talked on here before about the one I have who I suspect is also an internal layer. She has been molting and seems healthier now. Is that normal do you think?

Today my White Plymouth Rock got her face caught in the feeder. Tonight my neighbor and I sprayed some Blu-Kote on her.
How do you like your white rocks? Sorry she got hurt.
