California - Northern

They are adorable alibra.

So for those of you that went to the show, what breeds really tempted you? For me, it was definitely the bantam ducks. The large fowl ducks seem like too much for me (I don't like eating duck), but the bantams really caught my eye. Next were the Bantam Vorwerks. I don't have room for another chicken breed, but I thought they were beautiful. (and I just love a rare breed)

Gosh I'm loving my D'uccles! So cute! She's a little shy, & he's a show off

Your roos, got the moves

I apologize in advance for saying roo, but not much rhymes with Cockerel.

My favorite birds of all times is my 5 year Old D'uccle named China. She was named China because she is a porcelain and looks like fine china. She flies into my hands when I click my fingers. Ill try to get a video of her one day. She will melt your heart.

I just have to see this!

I don't mind it when the bantams fly up to my shoulder and tell me about their day. It's another story when the 5 pound wyandotte launches at me, maybe she has learned that I drop the treat cup when I try and catch her.

My EE used to fly onto my arm for treats. One time I had nice clothes on and didn't want her on my arm, so I held my arms close in to my body. She flew up and landed on my head instead. I always made sure I had an arm available after that. I lost her last summer to internal laying at 4 1/2 years old.
