Nice to see you too. I think Kelly & Mary may have been the 2 ladies at the next table at lunch. They were sitting across from Mario & Shanti I think.  I think someone's suggestion of name tags next year is a great idea.

We had lunch in town at Nena's Mexican restaurant. I was wearing an oatmeal colored sweater and Mary had a black shirt.

Petrock - adorable babies!

Tommysgirl - I never did an autopsy, but she had the symptoms of going into the nest box and nothing ever coming of it, and she lost a lot of weight. She had a long, happy chicken life.

I hatched 35 chicks, problem is they started hatching a day early while I was at the stockton show and I did not have them separate by breed and three of the breeds I hatched are yellow (Bresse, Basque and Sulmtalers). Good luck telling them apart now.

I just listed them on craigslist as mystery chicks.

Papa Brooder has marans eggs right?

Me too.  One of my Delawares lays an egg with a pink bloom it is very pretty but not as obvious as what we see in this picture.  I am going to hatch some of her eggs even though she is missing a toenail b/c she lays so well and the color is so great.
