How does one harvest the male's products to inseminate the hen? LOL

Gorgeous!Meet my new 10 month old LF black Langshan trio that I purchased from Sherry Parker! I'm so excited to add them to my breeding program! They have wonderful tail spreads and a gorgeous beetle green sheen to their feathers! Sherry got her stock from Joe Oakley and from James Smith who is the AZ breeder that I wanted birds from!
Monet loves naming our birds. The cockerel is Shang and the two pullets are Mulan and Lucy Lu.

She is my youngest girl and not at POL yet so no eggs which gives her something in common with just about EVERYONE else in my free loading flock. My CA Grey is still great and my mutt Norma is too. Everyone else has dropped off or stopped completely. I don't get it. They were laying on the shortest days. I was getting 7-10 eggs a day through December. Today so far we have 3, yesterday 4 the day before that 3
I had switched feed at the end of Dec/First of Jan from Bar Ales Multi use poultry pellet which has GMOs to the BarAle GMO free turkey and gamebird grower crumble so now I am wondering if the drop in production is related to their feed. I had 13, 2013 girls who were laying in Dec. now only the two I already mentioned are consistant. The other 7 girls are 2012 and between molting and brooding I have only had between 2 or 3 of them laying throughout the fall and winter
Here is the nutrition information for the new feed: They have free choice oyster shell on the side and shell quality is good on the eggs that I collect
Protein 22%
Lysine 1.3%
Fat 4%
Fibre 11%
Ash 8%
Calcuim 1.2
Phosphorus 0.6%
Sodium max.4%

With feed like the one you are using, you should have a nice hatch rate though.

with restrictions on exportations on Spain one way around it sounds to be shipping the goods and giving it to our hens.
so they would have to be isolated awhile for sure
