I will have to cancel the coop cleaning for now--There is a huge orange storm heading my way!

Yes, the radar shows orange to red for really heavy rain. They use different colors for Snow fall.

I was able to clean my coop thankfully it stopped raining and the sun almost came out lol.

No such luck here. It is pouring still. Too wet for cleaning. But the girls coop is elevated so they are high and dry.

still pouring here as well -- the henhouses for my girls are nice and dry, but of course they spend the whole day down in their runs, which are partially flooded. poor things! hopefully tomorrow things will have a chance to drain a bit and dry out...

I usually let them out every day but haven't much since the rain started. I finally caved and let them out today. They seem to be enjoying looking for worms and bugs when the rain is light but they sure run for the coop when it gets a little heavier.......they are pretty funny to watch!
