You can send serama day olds. Too fragile and I dont hatch enough at a time for heat. But even if you were getting 30 I would only expect 1/2 to make it. They are the size of quail when they are born.

Yea that would really suck. i was going through the classifieds on here looking for someone closer with seramas but everyone is way to far away Dx

Nikkie1496,
Do you have a way to incubate eggs? If not, you might be able to find a hatching services near you so you don't have to ship chicks.

I have a crappy incubator but the last time i had eggs in it that didnt go well and ive got a few in it that were set yesterday i wouldnt want to buy eggs then end up killing them. at this point id be fine with just getting adults or pullets/cockeral and letting them sit on their own eggs

Does anyone know where I might be able to get 3-4 female cream legbar chicks down in blasphemous central california? I'm in Fresno, but I'd be willing to drive a few hours to get healthy chicks. Haven't had any luck finding someone down here...

May know.

I saw a couple of ebay auctions for CL hatching eggs this week.

maybe you would prefer bioregions?
A map of the whole state that actually shows Crescent City?

I ended up with 6/6 Golden Cuckoo Marans (3 pullets, 3 cockerels) 8/9 W/BW Ameraucanas and 1/2 bantam BLRW chicks.

My girls are here, and there was a chorus of Aaaaaaawwwwws

My 3 yr old granddaughter loves watching chicks but is always very concerned about where their mommy and daddy is. I get the 3rd degree from her every time I hatch chicks. Babies are supposed to be with their mommy and daddy, you know! Any answer that I give her is always followed by a "Why???" !
