carefully wash the poo off--do not pull anythingAlso on the subject of chicks. a few have a little poo stuck to the feathers on their butt (pasty butt) what can i do to stop that
Make sure they can poo. The "Paste" can seal the vent shut which will kill them.I dont think we have zip ties atm and okay only a few have the pasty butt and i think the last time with the LF chicks it stopped on its own after a week or so
I check all of the baby chicks each day for the first week. It is very fast.Ill look and make sure i think right now its just on the feathers below the vent
It usually does but I did have one that had issues for a long time.It should stop on its own like with my LF after a while shouldnt it?
