And that is why they will not be called porcelein when it is accepted. Its a totally different genetically then other porcelain! Self blue cream all the way.

There is a very interesting conversation on the name of paint right now and how some judges think it is not acceptable name and some do. That one is so interesting because of the dact the genetics are unique.
Sounds interesting. I will go check it out

I really want some of the paints! What name do they want to call those?

Do you know if they are even considering accepting the porcelain (self blue cream) into the standard soon? Is that what the controversy over the name is about?

The post was on what you would rather get accepted next. My comment is self blue cream is nowhere consistent enough to be recognized, but I don't think paint has the years nessisiary to qualify yet. Someone else made a post about talking to the judges about the name and it went a bit wild.

The papertowels i used have grooves in it so its not fully slick. they seem to have better traction on it. how long should it take forthe little chicks leg to heal?

They recover quickly. I leave the paper towels in for about 5 days and then switch to pine shaving.

Some use sand.

Lots of good news, thanks! Since the price on that incubator was relatively low, I kept thinking something must be wrong with it. So excited about chicks! Glad that this batch of Dork eggs are fertile. Apparently, that male needs to watch some action before he gets fertile ... second year in a row.

11 piglets born on Monday, chicks coming this week, lambs sometime soon ... calves maybe, too.
Oh wow, you're going to be super busy with a bunch of babies! You need to post pictures of the piglets.
