This is probably the wrong group to ask, because they just go get eggs to hatch for their broodies, but...... is it possible that a broodie will never come out of it if they don't hatch or have a baby chick to mother? Is it possible that they could stay broodie indefinitely?
At that point you are worried sbout them starving and go drastic. Move her to a completly new space or give her chicks for a day or do and take them away.
I forgot I had a question for @chiqita. How heat tolerant are the Cots?
They raise them in hot places but recommend shade. I mevrr had an issue. But they are usually cold hardy to im still worried flowers lost some.
