Are the eggs from Toni Marie>

No, but the eggs came from birds directly from Toni.

I was thinking these would be great for your collection. So cool looking. Good luck with those precious eggs!

Thanks

Yes they are and they are black through and through, meat, bones, organs.......... Now, I can hardly wait out the days until the first candling. At least the eggs are light colored so I don't have to deal with dark colored eggs to try to see through.
In that picture, the roo looks like a bronze statue. The coloring on those feathers is stunning.

Black meat and organs too!? whoa trippy. That would be cool if they laid black eggs. If they stand perfectly still do you ever thing they are lawn ornaments? :p

@Keeper. Yes thank you! I was looking for just a booder and found that on caigslist. It was the only one I could find period. And the person who had already claimed it couldn't pick it up so I got it.

Its not perfect but they worked hard to make it like new again. And the cost of just a brooder without the cages brand new was only $100 less. It was definitely providence. I now use the old brooder section in my barn as a breeding pen. It was not easy to access as a brooder box being under the laying shelf. My own fault since I built the barn. And when the barn flooded it got the babies.. wasn't good.

Yeah, can you tell I'm excited? And this from the person that keeps talking about down-sizing.

I wasn't going to mention I had them until I had fluffy chicks in the brooder (didn't want to jinx myself, chickens before they hatch, yada, yada), but I was too excited about getting them. I couldn't wait another three weeks.
