California - Northern

Quick shout out to @Audio51 and @PetRock ! Tonight I used your suggestions ...got nesting material from her nest put in some of the eggs then brought the rest and Miss Norma is settled in like a champ In the broody box. Thank you both so much for your help. I also candled the 8 egg under her 7 CA Grey cross,,,black sex links.. and I think 1 Dorking cross could be a SL depends on the daddy...anyway all are kicking vigorously. Day 17 and all of the eggs under booth broodies are still good to go!!!

I hope that they all hatch for you!

I made a short video to get the chick experience!

They are Partridge Penedesencas, UofA blues and UofA Blue x Crele Pene Olive Eggers

Another broody drama question...So my two original girls are both on day 18. The 3rd girl (interloper and coat tail rider) has been making a pest of herself by getting into nests with the other two. Now that I have moved one of them, there is a nest for her so I hope she stops that.

I have eggs for her but I am starting to wonder if it would be best for coop harmony to give her chicks about the same age as the ones from this hatch will be. I would prefer not to and to just give her the Del eggs I have saved. am I over thinking again?

Thanks in advance
