So many cute chicks, Congrats everyone!

As we all know this is a safe place to ask silly questions, so here goes.
I was looking through the SOP and Cuckoo is listed as an approved variety, but I don't see a specific color. I think Cuckoo is black and white but are there other approved colors of Cuckoo, like lavendat or fun?

Quote: It's possible. They're all close to a week, and I tried to slowly introduce them.

Quote: Great. He'll just stop.

That is not a silly question! I was wondering the same thing, but pretty sure only silver cuckoo (common type) is accepted at this time.

Yes or those who show more than we are able to.

Side query, I'm also curious about the difference between barred and cuckoo. I was told once that cuckoo was a chevron shaped marking and I've also heard that the difference is the band width. Wider bands of color for a cuckoo where a barred bird has even bands of color and white.

Here is some Good Friday cuteness! These are pics of my first broody mama of the year and the five chicks she hatched this week. Anne (one of the 3 Bronte sisters) hatched last spring from some mixed eggs that I got from chiqita. She is a big, fluffy girl with lightly feathered legs. I'm not totally sure on her parentage besides Orlando the CL being her father. She is doing an excellent job with the babies! They all hatched from blue CL or AM eggs and Zorro is their daddy!
what a gorgeous hen she is! And such a good momma.
