Well therein lies the problem! I will get citric acid and activate it for all cleansing. It has to be activated for e coli salmonella and mg
Does anyone have experience with marking the vents of chickens with food coloring to see whose egg is whose? Or know of anyone who's done this? How well did it work?
That is most impressive Chris! You have been a busy man.
I resisted activating for a loong time, until Kim researched the crap out of it,then I gave in.. seems to be working beter.Well therein lies the problem! I will get citric acid and activate it for all cleansing.
Thank you all so much! I am learning as I go here - don't know what I'd do without all of your experience and knowledge to help me get it right.

Not exactly - I tried tagging a chick with food gel. It was an adventure!@CackleJoy was it you who used the food coloring in the hens vents?

Someone on here mention putting food coloring on the vents of the hens so the eggs are marked as they are laid. You could do that with the other 2 hens so theirs get marked.
