California - Northern

Thanks guys!! Took 15 minutes but I just finished with chick number two. Same story - more than ready to come out, chirping and kicking as I peeled away the shell. She had to have a warm bath because so much membrane had dried to her, hers was worse than chick number one, I assume she had been zipped longer than chick one. Her feathers were all dry! I'm glad I have you guys to tell me what to do when it comes to situations like this :) Thanks so much for your help!! I will post pictures in a few minutes, I need to sort through & edit them first.
Eep, I'm so happy they survived. They definitely needed to be helped, that was the right thing to do. Thanks everyone!!

Also, it's been 27 hours since the first pip on the TJ's egg. If the others haven't pipped by tomorrow morning(when I get ready to go to Hawaii), can I open them up from the big end and see if there's any survivors? OR should I ask my chicken-sitter to throw away the eggs after a couple days if they haven't hatched? The only con to the last option is that my incubator is absolutely disgusting from having 20 or so chicks hatch in it, and if I decide to have her throw away the eggs if they don't hatch(which I don't think they will since all of them started pipping and hatching at the same time) it will sit for another week without being cleaned, and everything will dry onto it and will be impossible to get off. I'm not going to ask her to clean it for me. Sooo I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone? What should I do?

If it has been a day since the last one hatched and there are no pips in the remaining eggs, then yes, start opening them up.

You would have a very stinky incubator after the Vacation if it was not cleaned.

Nope, no movement. Just candled them and didn't see anything, and there were no heads or beaks in the air cells.

I know. It's already stinky from the chicks hatching the past few days, I can't imagine how much it would stink after a week!! Lol! I will open them up late this morning, as I think the last one hatched(without help) late yesterday morning.
