More cracked eggs in my nest boxes so I ordered the plastic nest box liners hopefully that will fix the problem.

Does anyone use the Purina Layena Omega feed pellets? I got a coupon for a free bag of purina feed so I thought I would try it. Wondering if I should ferment the pellets and keep feeding the king as free choice in the feeders. Ive been fermenting the flock raiser and they seem to really like it.

Ive been working on sprouting trays for the Kaylee Wild birdseed that is at Costco. So far so good. Im hoping to get 4 trays going before I give the first ones to the birds. @PetRock mentioned that there is a chicken forage blend at one of the websites I dont remember which one. I want to sprout that in a planter box for them too.

My dominique roo is very lethargic,has his wings droppeed and his comb is like purple and hes making a gurglin sound when he breathes. hes really cold so i have him wrapped in a tpwel in my lap
if it has anything to do with it his eyes are weird colored thee outter color is. orange then like blue green

Check his vent area for mites/lice! My roosters get them the worst for some reason. When they get them their combs turn purple/black around the edges and back of the comb. It's from anemia because the mites/lice suck the blood--eek

Sometime they're hard to see in the daytime. Are their any eggs on the feather shafts? Here's a picture.

Hmmm well I don't know then. Make sure to dip his beak in some water. Maybe put some save a chick or electrolytes in the water. Maybe also some scrambled eggs for him. Ron or Kathy are very knowledgable, maybe they will chime in.

Eyes sound like Marek's. Purple comb can alo be Marek's. Cold, gurglin and purple comb can also mean the dying process has started. Sorry, I don't mean to sound insensitive, just felt I should share what I have experienced far too many times.

It sounds heart related--sometimes they have heart attacks.

Move him to a place that is about 85 degrees and see if he makes it.

Another possibility is Valley Fever which is a fungal infection. The Fungus can grow in the lungs and cause symptoms like you are describing.
