Good Monday morning! It was a busy weekend for us! My daughter finally had her baby girl after a very long, drawn out labor. Her name is Grace-Noelle. She weighed 6 lb 11 oz and was 19 in long. Isn't she an adorable little thing?!!!!

Grace sure resembles her name - she fared so well for a long labor!

Thank you everyone on the congrats for baby Grace! We just got home from visiting her. All are doing well and I got to hold her while she slept. Love it!

I snapped a picture of the Cream Legbar chicks. I have three pullets and 4 cockerels. not bat for having only 8 out of 20 shipped eggs develop and 7 hatch.

nice! If you need more boys I still have the extra 13 Has anyone had their dog hunt squirrels? We are enclosed on the property and they hunt gophers. They had a squirrel cornered last week.But I figured if I brought the dogs in , it would find it's way out. Today they had it. Well at least I think it was a squirrel. Half the body and tail were gone. I don't think the rabbits come in here and not the right color. This dog is 10 years old and hunts anything that doesn't belong. She's been working at the gopher holes for a few weeks too . But she's great with the chickens and OUR cats Didn't know how common squirrel hunting is
