Actually up here I would wait until after the first of the year. It seems that people are less likely to want chicks the later in the summer you get. They also are less likely to want to get into started pullets in the fall and winter as the holidays approach. If I wait until January people are more ready pull the trigger and buy. Since lots of places in Northern California are cold in the winter. People are leery about getting littles. Pullets at POL fit their needs very well. If a hen is already laying I sell them for more and I will know what I am selling in terms of production color etc. People like to know that before they buy.Just curious, why do you wait until Dec.?
