What a great hatch!!! Congrats...especially the part about them all being healthy. Well done!

Majority of kudos go to Jeff @Papa Brooder - I got the eggs from him.
It's his birds' good health & fertility that led to a great, easy hatch. Thank you Jeff!
All I did was turn on the incubator & watch...

RonnOtt1 & DoubleMM both have great suggestions.
I had to dust mine last year for the first time & I used a pillowcase and a dust mask.
Don't forget a hat or handkerchief to cover your hair.
I had shower right after I was done with 30+ birds because I have dust allergies.
Also helps to have a second set of hands.
I didn't so I know it can be done alone - just takes more time. It's fun trying to keep their head out of the bag while doin' the "shake & bake".

Didn't have any protective clothing or a mask but I was careful to avoid getting it on my skin(minus my hands which I used to rub it down to the base of the feathers), I made sure to get it under the wings, on and around the vent, and then I put some on their back and rubbed it in.
Got all done, went inside and washed my hands/arms, then realized I'd forgotten one. Ugh! Had to go back and dust the last bird lol. I dusted the ones that don't sleep in the coop, just to be safe. They sleep outside, but in the run, on top of the plastic pen that is used to hold youngsters

If I had a spare pillowcase that's what I would have done! It sounds easy! But I don't, and it's too late to go get one, and I wanted to be sure I dusted them the same day that their coops was cleaned and dusted. So I just held them upside down and applied dust to their vent area and underneath their wings, then when I put them down I rubbed some into their back. I'm going to get another pillowcase and a mask for next time so that I'm better prepared when I have to dust them again.

Great catch and kudo's on the fast actions BCollie.
We dusted every bird coming out of the barn after fair, 200 birds, I was a mess but better safe than sorry. A bird in open had crawlies and 1 other started scratching while at fair.

One less little cockerel here today, DD traded a pair of pyncheons for a pair of Birmingham roller pigeons. Only 1 more to go.

This little guy is going to be a kick in pants when he grows up, er, gets older...

He FREAKS when getting caught but calms right down once you have him in your hands

and this teeny pullet is getting the prettiest feathers

They have the squeakiest cheep

Oh my gosh!!! Bantams are SO cute, I wish I could have one! But seeing how my girls treated a LF bird coming in I'd be scared that they'd kill a bantam. Not worth torturing a poor little chicken.

Oh I am so proud of her but glad I don't have half a dozen as I would soon be over run with chicks

At two weeks and then she left after 25 days to start over

But a great mother and very protective and affectionate
