Did I mention that 3 of the silkies/showgirls are from pale green eggs?
I never knew they could lay colored eggs.
They hatched while I was gone so I couldn't track who came out of what, though, dang it.

Silkies are not supposed to be laying pale green eggs so you have something else in them.

I have a rumpless Araucana trio I need to rehome. They are too bossy to my bantams. The rooster has ear tufts, the hens are clean faced.

Ok, as you know, I'm with @KernH on the general freakiness of Showgirls, but I LOVED the black one you have that isn't "sliky" (she has more normal feathers). What's the deal with that one? When I Google, I can't find any like her.
Lol - you mean my little Elvira?
She's a frizzled naked neck silkie (or frizzled showgirl).
I think you cross naked neck silkies with frizzled cochins.
I'm still a newbie at the genetics.
The single frizzle gene overrides the silkie feathering, I guess.
I got her a a day-old chick from @chiqita . She has the nicest black skin & intense blue ear lobes.

Thank you for that confirmation, Walt.
I thought the same thing but I learn new stuff everyday so I thought, well, maybe...
I only have 1 blatantly visible silkie cross (other than the naked neck silkies) so it'll be interesting to see how they feather out & mature.
I know 2 of the naked necks did not come from the green eggs.
