That's interesting, thanks for sharing that! For some reason peafowl seem to be prone to sinus infections, but I don't think I've heard why. That was my first and only (knock wood).During our fair this year a Cornish bantam was noticed with bubbles. He was immediately quarantined. We later learned that breeds with dense skulls, (Brahma & Cornish), will release sinus pressure with eye bubbles. It's always best to err on cautions side IMHO.
Well the lawn died last year so thats not a problem garden is a little sparser this year and more water conscious but over all we have not hit the summer months yet depends on how bad this summer gets. Heat waves like we have seen in the past will probably push my garden over the edge. Ill buy bottled water if need be for the chickens.Hello I'm curious how all the Californians are dealing with the drought? We haven't been hit as hard as the rest of the state has but we live in a pretty wet spot.
I am in Ceres I have some chicksSo, curious if anyone in the central california area (San Luis Obispo County and the Bay area) raise and breed Cream Leghorns?
Ha, yes, legbars. I shouldn't type when tired![]()
