wow how fun is that!!! jealous!!! i had 2 predator attacks in ONE week..lost two hens...i was thinking hawk? fox...but NO..turned out to be a bobcat! i was so unprepared to even consider that....villian gone now..dont ask! bt it was a major trauma for all...so unprepared and what a learning  experience!
So sorry about the attacks. So far our bobcat hunts behind our main yard, I did lose a rat trap last week. It was pulled hard enough to undo the twists I had in the wire attaching it to the run fence. It was only twisted for a rat though, didn't think I would have anything big enough to disappear the trap!

Thank you...learned a lot. i feel lucky to have gotten rid of it before it killed every last one. i had spent the WHOLE day adding 2' more hardware cloth along about 80-90' of fence AND putting bird netting over much of my yard (so attractive!) so felt somewhat secure....thankfully it was raining so the girls wanted to go in...locked them up and went to the store and came home and there it was...hanging out RIGHT where they would have been!

Hey Ron i checked the LF eggs and i think..? I can see veins. Maran eggs are so dark.. The only one that looks clear is an EE "aracauna" and my serama are doing great, energetic. Should have the serama having this weekend (staggered hatch ago the small babies can grow some
