For everyone who had suggestions with the dogs I was needing to rehome I just wanted to leave an update. We just got the invisible fence in today. So far it is working!! The dogs are staying away from the fence. We have had the door open all day and they are going out but staying in the yard. I am so excited. This was our last ditch effort. As long as it keeps up we should be able to keep our pooches! So happy!!

Great news, hope for the best. Was it hard to install?

So glad it's working! It's so hard getting dogs and chickens together on the same property. Now let's keep fingers crossed the power to the invisible fence never goes out!

It's day 21 of my hatch and I don't have any chicks. :-( I am hoping maybe they are just late hatchers. But if not, does anybody by any chance have some chicks I could give my broodies? Maybe?

Less than optimal temps can slow down a hatch. Slow hatches are prone to developmental problems as well. May have issues with legs or nurological issues with inability to stand properly after fluffing out. Not to be super doom and gloom Ive had good birds come as late as day 24/25

I think the pip is slightly bigger on one of the eggs, maybe I will get one at least.

Missed they were broodies they can be slow too. I had one hatch what I though was day 23. A lot has to do with when they actually get them up to temp. If they start collecting early thy might not develop the broody breast (hotter) for a day or so. Things can slow down because they get off the nest periodically.

Just because the average is 21 days doesnt mean you cant have early and late.
