California - Northern

Hi all! It's been forever since I've checked in here. I hope everyone's flock are well.

Any one have any hatching eggs of any breed? I am looking for up to 6 standard-sized eggs or 9 bantam-sized eggs. I am in Fairfield & would be willing to drive about 1 hour one way. I have a broody modern game hen & none are fertile. My 8-y-o son is soooo disappointed. If I get them in the next day or two, I think the timing will work out for the hen to hatch them. Thank you!
I could probably rustle up some eggs. I still have some Barnevelders laying and 1 Arkansas Blue laying. Other than that, it would be mixed breeds. I haven't hatched lately, so no promises on fertility. (though I am giving a broody eggs today, so I should know fertility soon ;))

I could meet you somewhere in Auburn. I think that is within an hour from you.

Hi Lisa, I have fertile eggs here in Stockton.

Thank you. I just ordered, will check re Julian Date. So excited! :celebrate:wee:celebrate

We put 9 fertile eggs (8 from our local farm store and 1 from our chicken, not sure what breeds they are) in the incubator. Our eggsperiment so far and it’s day 9. It looks like we have baby chicks growing, here are some pics, what do you think?

The first picture looks great! The other two are a little bit harder to tell exactly what's going on, but they don't look like they are on day 9. How many eggs of the 9 have those spidery veins like the first picture?
Ryn.
