Six Dozen Eggs! LOL

It was great meeting you! I am glad I was able to get you in and out of UCD easily. The 3 dozen eggs are doing great so far! Temp and Humidity are right where I want them.

My mil found it under the pear tree asking me what it was lol!
Excuse my typos. Sent from my iPhone.
you know, you might try leaving everyone ( ducks included) in their coops for the day and see how many eggs you get. I have a feeling you might have girls laying all over the place. Somewhere in the easement next to us Miss Fury has hid about 30 eggs, and a few from the girls she convinceved to go onto the dark side too. Some chickens just like to be sneaky, and if one chicken gets away wiht it, everyone else starts to think its a good idea.

Now here is a picture of silkie heaven...

THAT story is going to have to wait until we move warehouses this week!

PS, the banties will TRY with the large fowl.. but you have to worry about the large roos an the small hens. love ( or Lust) knows no bounds. Next ime Ill take a pic of my nn showgirl/marans...

Not to mention, now the light sussex have to go. the silver spangled hamburgs have to go. I may have to sell the wheaten marans pair. and the bantam cochins may have to go as well. Hmm, lemon cuckoo orps may have to go but still holding out hope for those. I may have to suck it up and build a few more pens this weekend!!

Jeff,
You are Welcome.. It was great talking Chicken...:) it's always great talking Chicken.. Very nice meeting you Face to Face. Wishing you luck with the Orpingtons. I know its going to be a GREAT project... Chocolate Orps are such cuties. After you left, I got a breeding coop together for the Isbars...then today my husband worked on another new coop with a large yard.
I got my note pad out again today to see who stays and who goes. I did great on who stays. Not so good on who goes. CRAP!
