No I'm getting them directly from GFF. But the source I'm getting them from did. And he will have them available this spring. Probably cheaper....
The auctions are getting up there! But I think their well worth the investment.
I guess I'm patiently waiting for your BLUE partridge Brahma auction.
Thanks Cheryl,

LOL I wish I was so patient when it comes to those BLUE partridge Brahmas!! I've got two gorgeous pullets (much better than their mom) and 2 great cockerels. So I'll be in pretty good shape in the spring...but I'm nutz about them too!!

You know I've been going through this kitchen remodel. I hadn't had an oven since Oct 10th and cooking is one of my major pastimes. I've had nothing but a hotplate burner and a microwave. My new range is also a gas/convection, I'm pretty excited about it. But Saturday the electrician was here and installed the electric wall oven. I've always wanted a second oven, now in this remodel I'm going to end up with THREE!

Finally having it caught me off guard completely (still have no sink/counter tops/etc), so I ran out and bought

OMG someone else with 3 ovens! I use them all! All all all! We have been doing our remodel Slooowly and ended up with space for a 40 inch oven. Its a double wiht a tiny one for small things and a big whopper for turkeys etc. I left the wall oven in the colum on the ohter side in >>.

also! In a big surprise My DH told me he was checking out a incubator for a birthday present for me yesterday. I got off early today, so I cam home instead of staying up in Marin and HOLY CR**P. This thing is almost as tall as I am. Thats... hundreds of eggs! Carl Sagan ( billions and billions) amounts of quail! I guess I'm going into the incubating for people business becuse clearly its more then my little flock can handle.

DANGER WILL ROBBINSON DANGER!

ok, going back to catching up!

He lives in the Garage now. I will get a picture later.

Good job on the Face Book page!
nice and thank you.

so we found the rest of the icelandic rooster. no head or feathers and the body was shredded up but in one peace. My wife so a Red Tail Hawk in a Black Oak over the chicken area.
None of the chickens came out of the coops today. Poor guys probably freaked out from the sight of it.
This hawk has been here a few days now. I need him gone.

Ron, the only reason I know its a boy is Iggy the worlds weirdest chicken has a hard feather sex link. not ALL his boys are hard feathered, but if it has hard ( non silked) feathers its 100% male. I was no longer letting him breed because of the feather issue until I realized they were all boys and I can get my boy girl raito to about 70% for people who want silkie or showgirls. I am still not 100% sure, its only been a year and I have never heard of anything like it in other chickens. But I take roosters back, and I ask people and no one has a hard featherd girl yet. Plus, all his sisters were silked, he is the only one one with the weird gene.

You people are such amazing photographers, its awesome! I'm sorry coop and miss molly about the missing chicks, its sad :(. I'm glad you are feeling chipper Cheryl seeing your girls out in the world having babies for other people.

Zoo its so exciting to see your girls starting to perma lay. I cant BELIEVE your ducks lay in the coop, your magic.

I'm very interested in the Bresse for a community project I want to start in Mexico. Are you following the feeding/raising guidelines that the french follow? I'm still learning about these so I'm just curious?
Cheryl,
