OK, I had a surprize waiting for me when I got home today, Beeps layed an egg and she has a one month old chickie. I thought they don't lay when they have a baby????

i have some that soon as the chicks are a few weeks old she tries to go right back to laying and sitting shes a machine! i swear some times i just have to pull the eggs so she will stop and other hens won't lay for months after chicks hatch just depends on the bird and we are talking about seramas here they just do what they want sue lol crazy little birds mine are all so different . jut had four hatch today every time i see new chicks born and out with there mom just makes me smile !!!!!!! i just love the little fuzz butts !
