DATE: SATURDAY, APRIL 6TH
PLACE: NORCO- NEIL SNIPES PARK on the corner of 5th and Hammer

TIME: usually start around 10AM till the cows come home!

WHAT WE DO: TALK "SHOP' BUY / TRADE / SWAP / OOGLE EVERYONES BIRDIES / meet all those people we only know by BYC names
Bring yer favorite birdies too and let them play in the sun and grass.....we all love to see everyones birds.
There is a beautiful open air pavillion w/ picnic tables that we use. PLEASE bring yer own lunch and drinks. If you want to share goodies…sell goodies….COOL BEANS!

P.S. Of course doggies are more than welcome to come but please remember they have to be on leash, not all of the birdies are used to dogs..Thank you for your consideration with this....LOL

I am interested in purchasing some Freedom Ranger or Red Broiler chicks. Does anyone here in SOCAL want to split an order with me? I just need about 10 or 12 of them. If we combine our order we should be able to save some money. Let me know!

I am planning on going to the meet up in Norco on Saturday. I have 2 crested cream legbar cockerels that are about 2 months old and one beautiful leghorn roo that is about 1 year old. I'll bring them if anyone is interested in buying/trading for them- let me know and I'll bring them. $20 each for the cream legbars and $15 for the leghorn roo.

So glad you can join us sixhix! If it is not too much trouble bring the roos with, there will be ALOT of people coming from the California Poultry People page on FB. I am guessing over 50 people easliy....

I'm ordering some Red/Freedom Ranger or Red/Black Broiler chicks to raise for meat. They mature at 10-12 weeks and don't have the leg problems like the Cornish X's but I only need about 12 of them. Minimum order is 25. Does anyone here in Socal want to split an order with me and save a few bucks? We each pay about $28. You can keep the rest plus any extras they ship. I am just north of Glendale.

The FIRST METT-UP FOR 2013 was the BOMB!!!!
We had a great time, tons and tons of chickens of all ages exchanged hands, we had a demonstartion by Jennifer Morales on artificial insemmination of chickens...SO worth the drive just for that!
Talked chicken for hours and hours! For all of you peeps that missed this extravaganza, not to worry, we will have our second meet-up on June 15th same place and time. BUT I will be posting about that beforehand.... LOL
We were having so much fun, I don't think anyone had time to take any pictures!
