Thanks Oz, no flirting of any kind... An inside joke while celebrating my birthdayto a non-participant in this banter, perhaps a lot of it should go elsewhere
i am sure its all good fun but it approaches the limits of flirtation to this non participant
Hi Rachel, and Welcome!Hello everyone! New to BYC but not to chicken raising. Had chickens for 13 years until downsizing happened. Now that I'm in a position and a place that can have chickens I'm getting back into the game. I found a wooden playhouse that I'll be converting into a chicken coop, (sorry didn't take pictures before it was dismantled) getting an old dog run from my father-in-law that will be turned into a chicken run. I am looking for suppliers of feeders, waterers and of course chicks in the Riverside area. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you! Rachel

I'm not quite sure how a meet up works...Welcome.
We have a meet-up in Valley Center (near Temecula) at the end of the month.
Before rushing off and buying, it may be a great place to get some well looked after birds.
Iy get discussed here but the San Diego thread is a little more active on it

We only want pullets, by zoning laws we can have up to five chickens and plan on having that full amount. For this reason I know that we will most likely need to get some older chickens. We really like Easter Eggers, Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds.Hi Rachel, and Welcome!
Like many others on this site, I have a variety of pullets/cockerels available for local pick-up.
Enjoy!
I do have started stock, including Cream Legbars, Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers that are right at POL or have been laying for a few weeks.I'm not quite sure how a meet up works...
