I am in North county (Solana Beach area) and have lots of chicks - silkies, blue laced red Wyandotte, project Ameraucana and I think still some MArans.
I also have a sweet Wyandotte roo who will need to go soon - free to a good home.

Mine are very people oriented as they imprinted (bonded) to us as goslings. They are a medium size. They are great for alerting to anything/anyone new coming on to the property. They do have a tendency, at times, to be loud so you need understanding neighbors.

She isn't a true blue but just as lovely. Chickens Galore. That's where they came from. See the chicks in my avatar? Ginger is the little dark one with the copper colored head. Funny how different they feather out.

I saw 3 geese at the Hawthorne country feed store. They were selling them all for $50. I bought mine off craigslist. It was a lady in la mesa. She has the babies in la mesa and the breeders in temecula. There was a family that I got chicks from that sold EE. I'm interested in more places to get chicks also.
