I used two of my usual fixers. First I used ACV which helped sooo much and ..........Linda I used toothpaste. LOL I try and tell people about toothpaste all the time, but they never believe me. LOL Toothpaste has made sure that acne doesn't happen. haha

Bottom of my foot it still swollen and my toe OMG. So swollen that it gaps from the second toe. It's weird the way it did this.

Hoping to make it to the auction tomarrow. I have Jumbo quail roos I'm putting in with my Coturnix hens that should have already started laying

so taking the littler roos and a mixed cockerel over. Even if I don't make anything it will be a few mouths I don't have to feed that aren't doing me any good.

I also wanted to get more of that patch out back smoothed out, but I'm a little ant shy right now. They were trying to eat my toe off!

Oh I hurt so bad I hope I can get up in the morning. Maybe they'll have some decent supplies. Wish they sold the birds first so I'd know if I can afford to pay for anything. LOL I'm not only thrifty, but broke. hehe Need lots of wire a plastic these days.

I hatched out 3 chicks yesterday. One is on ethe the Maranas x Games and two are my Pene bantam Wellie project. I hope I get a pair because I've hatched several and all I ever get are cockerels. I was a few of these before I take El Guapo out and put the other roo in for some pures. Now to find El Guapo some pure girls.

I have a handful of eggs to hatch right now and a backyard full of feathers. I hate shorter days and heavy moults.

Do you have any Benedryl? Or any antihistamine? That would help with the swelling. The baking soda paste will help alot too.

I can't believe I didn't think if that. Yes I do and I'm going to take some now. I get terrible hives and when my husband was alive, he'd had it to me and say "You didn't take this yet did you?" Hard to take care of myself, as old and mindless as I am. That's according to 2 of the grand daughters. "Awwww grandma, it's ok, you're just old" or "When I get really old like you will I forget things too?" ahhhh grandchildren. Anyone need one? I have plenty.

Kim, he's about to go in the pot, but I'll try to get a decent picture of him for you. He's really very pretty. He didn't quite have the size of a Marans, but he wasn't as small as I thought he would be either. The pullet must be getting close to POL, and she looks much more Gamey.

Most of what's left the broodies raised. The Games make great broodies and right now I have one of them broodie plus 2 FBCMs. Haven't seen an egg in days. Even the quail are slowing dow. I got 2 of their eggs yesterday and today and from the same pen. I have lots to do around here and when I can see past some of it I'm going to try and rig up lights. Lots of moulting going on, so trying not to stress them out right now.

Better! I did end up with hives this morning, so more benadryl. I woke up and rushed to take a shower and take some birds to the auction, but when I got into the livingroom it was 10:55 and they start at 11, so didn't get to take them. We did walk over and my limp was finally gone. LOL The swelling was so weird that last night I was hobbling around. I was sitting with my daughter and one of my grand daughters, Kayla's little sister and someone said "Did you get your foot in your shoe?" It was Taylor. LOL He saw the posts. At first I was kind of thinking "wow, someone else was having a hard time too" then "WHO knew about my foot?" LOL There are BYCers everywhere!

I didn't work on my yard again till almost dark and I wore my tennis shoes this time. LOL Yesterday I tried to get some of the chickens towards the far back to eat bugs while I worked, but they were too chicken. LD kind of hung out with me, because Little Jovi and Sterling pick on him. He kind of acts cool like he's just hanging out, but when they make their moves on him he comes running to be closer to me. Crazy bird. Tonight I had about 15 of them out there with me. They started to realize there was some goodies in there, so they decided I wasn't to bad to hang out with even if I hadn't broke treats from the house.

I didn't get to the auction in time to see if I could afford supplies, but they had a few things I could have used. I need more coops built and it's been bugging me, so what do I do? I broke him a Game roo. Chicken math sucks sumetimes.

Forgot to mention. I walked over to the livestock area of the auction with the intention of buying a goat! I'm seriously thinking of doing it to clear my yard and then I'll just sell it, but I'm so tired of the creepy brush. Wonder how fast a dwarf or pygmy could clear another 50 x 50??? hehe
