So I think I’ve decided to lockdown when I see a drawdown if it’s before day 23. If not I will just put it into lockdown on day 23. I think I will aim to have the humidity between 65 and 70. I will put a safety hole in the egg 16 hours after it internally pips, so it doesn’t suffocate. It’s alright to open the incubator during lockdown to quickly check if it’s internally pipped right? I’m very nervous because this is the only Call egg I have left in the incubator. I originally started with 9 eggs but only 2 started developing and one quit on day 9. If this little guy hatches it’ll be a single duckling. This one has a smaller air cell so I’m also worried about that. Is there anything I can do about the air cell at this point? I don’t think there is, I had tried lowering the humidity but couldn’t very much because I had a guinea egg in lockdown. Does this sound good for lockdown?
