I have a call duck that disappeared a couple weeks ago. We finally managed to find her on the far side of the property sitting on a nest so we left her be but we would bring her food and water everyday so she doesn’t have to go far. As of last Sunday she and her eggs are nowhere to be found. The property is fenced in and we do not have many predators. There was no sign of anything attacking her... no blood, feathers, broken eggs, or bodies anywhere. Is it possible that she moved the entire eggs to a new location? If so how do they do this?
