We’ve got a honker!! Does this mean that it’s a girl? I know with my Pekins the girls honk. It’s the little grey!

I haven’t heard a definitive honk from any of the others. Could it be that the others are just slower in developing their voice. There is two that I am thinking might be girls but they aren’t honking yet. I am worried that squirt will be the only girl. If she does happen to be I have someone in the area with female call ducks.

I’ve got two females! The little grey and the little snowy! It seems to me that the pastel, black bibbed, and white are all drakes. They have a raspy sound instead of a quack and they are also a bit bigger than the two females. I’ll now be looking into adding a couple more females to the group. Everybody is almost fully feathered besides the wings! Gah! Why do ducklings grow so fast!
