My call ducklings will come either the coming this Wednesday or next Monday! I have other ducks but have never had calls. I am thinking it would be a bad idea to house them with my free range Jumbo Pekins; therefore, I am looking to build them a house. Because of Corona I am unable to go buy a coop, but would like to build them something with all the time spent at home. Does anybody have coop ideas for 6 call ducks? I’m looking to build them something nice that would hold up through winter and not break my bank 😂.Any ideas appreciated. I would love to see examples of everyone’s coops!

Thank you very much. I am still a little worried about the little one that seems sleepy. It is doing ok it just doesn’t seem as lively so I thought electrolytes might perk it up. I am thinking the trip might have just faired harder for that little one. It seems to be better now. I will keep monitoring it and make sure it does well. :) I think I would be tired too if I spent three days getting jostled around in the mail.
Continue with the vitamins, I myself and others have saved chicks from near death with poultry vitamins, they are truly a lifesaver. Just keep a close eye on the duckling and make sure he is eating and drinking regularly. Shipping can be very hard on birds, especially one of that size.

I’ve named the ducklings! My names are ridiculous but please don’t judge me! 🤦‍♀
The little black bibbed is Splash (because it wants to swim in the water pan.) The first little snowy is Pippa ( I have no idea why) and the second is Squeegee (long story involving my father). The grey who is the tiniest of the bunch is named Squirt (this one is puzzling too... it kind of just came to me) . The little white one is Squeak (because it is extremely loud and sounds like it’s squeaking). Finally the little pastel is Munchie (because it is always eating). :lau I feel bad now...The names are in order if the pictures by the way.

I filled the feeder back up right after I took this picture. I just received them. That is food in their water it was just filled again less than an hour ago. Every time they eat they seem to get food into their water. Also the water is yellow because there is electrolytes in it.
Your doing great and they are adorable ❤
