That egg goo sometimes gets stuck and makes the down look like that until they have their first bath. I've had several I thought looked weird for a while like that.

I was already calling it Caiman, but Gharth is cute too. I’ve gotten away from naming my birds because those always seem to be the ones I lose. But I’m hopeful that this one will be around for a long time.
