Well, our little duckling is gaining weight pretty well, the hatchmate is growing faster but she seems to be doing fine. With one exception... the tongue seems to be pushing out one side and almost like it’s drying out. I’m not sure what effect this may have, if any. But so far, it could be worse I guess.

Took little Gharth outside with my 5-week old loner hatch Phoenix yesterday. Phoenix still picks on her a bit, but I’m hopeful they will bond. For now, Gharth is with 4 other recent hatchlings, doing great. The others will be going to a customer of mine later this week.
