Call duckling tail feather growth

I noticed that my 2.5 week old call ducklings are growing in their tail feathers at different shapes. Some are straight across or slightly curved outward while others have an inverted v, or top of heart shape when they spread their tail feathers. Just curious if this has any indication of sex or if it's completely random? They are still all peeping.

That's normal with any breed, and is no indication of sex, you will have to wait till they are molting into there adult feathers for that.
