Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I am TOTALLY freakin out!!! They are still alive but Im really confused as to why the movement is at the bottom of the egg???

Also these call duck eggs are SOOOO tiny!!!! How long do they rotate before lockdown?

What do you mean by the "bottom" of the egg. The large/blunt end where the air cell is or the small end?

Call eggs are tiny because call ducks are tiny :) They usually take 26 days to hatch... but if you have a little one like mine she comes at 25 days :). Stop turning at day 22, raise humidity and go into lockdown at day 23. I incubated mine at 25-30% humidity and then raised humidity to 55-60% at lockdown

As in the egg is laying on its side, and when I candle by the air sack the movement is at the bottom as opposed to the top (all my normal hatchers started at the top)

Sad News for me, my second experiment call duck did NOT make it. I had a feeling it wouldn't. I candled him yesterday and took him off the turner and noticed a Huge red spot. it was blood, the little guy POPPED one of his veins inside the shell. So I didn't see movement today cracked him openend and sure enough all this blood came out, he was unabsorbed and dead. WHANNN..
