Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Hi all,

My 3 call duck eggs are on day 24. One is moving a bit and the egg is rocking but the other 2 are still. I candled them yesterday just before I put them on lockdown. No chirping is being heard yet.
Today it's still the same. I was just wondering if the fact one egg is moving is normal for 3 days before hatch date? And if it is normal, should I be worrying about the 2 eggs doing nothing? This is my first ever hatch and want to do right by the little ducks but I tend to worry a lot. Is there anything I should do to help? Any help or advice would be gratefully welcomed and I promise to upload photos of ducklings you helped bring into the world.

NO leave them, got to give them 26 days, once one comes out the others will follow behind, just listen for the internal pip, after you hear the internal pip give them 24 hours to make a crack in the shell or some sort of progress, if nothing then you will need to make a safe hole..

Oh dear that's not really what I wanted to hear. I'll check them on the hour from now to watch them. Thanks for the advice. Very nervous now though.
Don't stress, I can help you get them out if need too..But you have to give them at least past there due date. I didn't read but can you tell me what the humidity and temp is at right now..

amykins, so sorry about your hatch! i used a cheapo little giant still air, but i watched it constantly! this was my first hatch too...my hubby and i hovered around that thing constantly faithfully turning and keeping the right temp and humidity.... then an internal pip.....and nothing.... lacrystol texted with me on how to save the little guys...if not for her and miss lydia i don't think i would've hatched but two....now i have 8, and i still lost one that suffocated cuz i was peeling out a breach baby...it is hard, and i swore during the whole process that i would never do it again....my hair is just starting to grow back....lol.... it is so worth it in the end, but it's tuff in the process....keep trying!
YOU ARE VERY WELCOME, I'm glad they you have great results, 8 babies. WOO HOOOO Where's the pictures??? Anytime you need help just let me know. Was the one backwards?? Those are really hard to get out but I have managed another system that has been successful.

Yes call ducks are hair pulling, nail bitting and stressful project. But for a First timer. OMG, 8 babies, Great job....

Oh, I absolutely won't! I could never give up on my adorable Calls. They're amazing ducks and other than maaaaybe a Cayuga I'd never have another breed. Just keeping my fingers crossed that my one lone egg is still viable! Come ooooon, Wobbles!

Thanks everyone. I'm currently sitting on my hands. It's still just day 25 so I won't panic just yet. No change since yesterday and I've been checking them every half an hour today. The active one is moving more now but the other two are STILL not moving.
Temp is at 37.5oC and humidity is at the height of 65-70.
My question is: how do I know when they have internally pipped when I can't open the incubator for fear of letting moisture escape? And what if the poor little mite is trying to pip the internal membrane but can't!? Do I help then?? Still sitting on my hands I promise but hypotheticals are starting to haunt me. The waiting game is just horrendous!

Internally pip you will hear them, it may be a tiny little peeping but you will hear them. Sometimes they can't break threw the membrane but it's OK, we can't worry about that until we give them a chance. On day 27 if still no pipping or cracks or any progress, you may have to help. On day 27, candle them, you should see a beak or something. if that is the case let me know, I will be on stand by for you. I will need you to send pictures as I explain how to help him. So if you have a cell phone or can upload pictures on here that's great, or even email pictures. but that's nothing to worry about until at least day 27th.

Call ducks have problems getting out because of there little beaks and short necks makes it hard for them to crack the thick shell and cut threw the membrane..
