Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Just a little me update.

My three Anconas due sat/sun are down to two. The one I thought quit a few days ago did. The other 2 appear to be OK, so we will see.

All 3 call ducks are still alive and moving great.

The call ducks are these the ones I sent you?

She had a hen that went broody and she thinks she grabbed her eggs by accident.. What a site though OMG.. Freaked me out...

Yes they are my last to hatch before I shut my bator down until after the 1st of the year. They are due to hatch the 26.

Sorry everyone, and to you mostly Lori. They passed on. They were so beautiful. I had accidentally dropped that humidity Gage in the dog water. It still reads 65. I am going stop hatching anything for a while. And I am getting new gages the best I can get. If I hatch a blue Lori, I will send it to you.

Better be ready the 1st of the year Im going to be DEMANDING eggs. LOL, this whole break for Christmas is killing me. Someone had one dozen plus butterscotch eggs on eBay. UGH. And right now there's blue fawn and butterscotch on eBay, who wants to hatch them for me if I buy them???!!!

Thanks I hope at least these last 2 make it. It was $35 for a dozen shipped so great deal (or so I thought). I apparently have bad luck with the ones I really spend out on. Ha.

Is that 23 from the 60 eggs you got? Did you have a bunch of blood rings or were the others just infertile?

Had 5 blood rings and 3 quitters but the rest were infertile. Breeder told me that his normally slow their laying this time of year but for some reason started laying like crazy all of a sudden so he sent them to me to see what fertility was like. About 50%

The ones on ebay are blue fawn and butterscotch. That's where I got my previous eggs from. Even with picking up the eggs only 1 hatched out of 27 eggs (Lily). Had 2 blood rings and 1 other that quit at day 11 or 12 but rest were infertile. Also bought my 5 adults from him and was not happy. My apricot was supposed to be a butterscotch and my penciled drake is missing an eye.
