Now here's a freaky story.  One of my bibbed I noticed his neck was missing feathers.  So off into the house he goes.  Sure enough the other boys have pecked at his neck so much that all the feathers are gone and he's got a huge scab.  I get him into the tub, I noticed something hanging from underneath him.

OMG, it's his LOVE TOOL.  YES, the poor guy has FROST BITE on his LOVE TOOL.  WHOLLY CRAP!!!!  needless to say, I tried to get most of the dead skin off, once I did we were able to get his LOVE TOOL back into his body.  OMG, what a horrible SITE!!!!

So last night I make an announcement to all of them "there will be NO LOVE MAKING while sitting on the snow, if you feel the URGE, you are to IMMEDIATELY dismiss yourself from the snow and go INTO the coop".

Do you think they Listened?  NOPE, as I'm giving the speech, sure enough there's one of my butterscotches, pouncing on the girl.  GRRRRRR.  I got him off and explained the rules in PLAIN DUCK ENGLISH.  NO LOVING MAKING IN THE SNOW YOUNG MAN!

his response " QUACK".   That's all I got out of him.  WTH...., talking back to me like that, how dare him!!!!

YAY!!! I can't wait to see how the ones that hatched out last night feather out. Can't wait til it warms up a little more so I can hatch some more either lol. My mille duccles are externally pipping as I type. Just about everything I put in this incubator comes a day early. But they've all been healthy so I'm not complaining :)

Had to go out to Harmony today to pick up a mandarin hen so called her to see if she wanted me to bring the calls with me. She bought all 4 black bibbed. She has a few dozen calls but they're all snowy and wanted some of other colors. So now I just have the 1 pair of white calls left for sale.

Oh awesome!!!! Glad she came through :)

I also heard back from the lady with the magpie ducklings. Looks like I will be getting some in a couple weeks!!! Sent her a deposit so she couldn't back out on me, lol
