So is the turner shifting them side to side but the eggs are in an upright position? or are the eggs laying completely flat? trying to picture your auto turning them from the side. If they are in an upright position and your turner is shifting them side to side, you may want to consider laying them down. Duck eggs do 110% better when they are completely laid down. Try taping them to the turner, if you go to my website click on the Duck tab, then method 2 you will see how I have taped mine to the turner. Much better hatching rate if they are flat, I haven't quite figured out why this is, I can only give my theory of they are bigger and this gives them more room to grow when having them up right confines them some what..
