Well My chicken hatched out FINE, but my Experiement duck and one that I did not experiement on, Sadly did not make it.

My other Experiement duck did not make it as well but I believe I made the hole to big for him.

So I'm Doing Great with Chickens not so well with ducks. I have new batches in the bator. THREE to be exact. I have started Misting them Hoping this will make some sort of improvement. If not, I will be going BACK to my first initial 101 hatching guide. To try and figure this out..

I dry incubate 1st 7 days, then mist 3 times a day after that.

The Black East Indies have externally pipped overnight after i safe holed them yesterday but the Calls are still doing NOTHING! Just wiggling enough that I know they are still in the game but they are definitely not playing by my rules!

Any news?

As of this morning I have 1 Black East Indie and 1 Call out! A third is slowly thinking about zipping. As soon as the zipper is out, I'm going to candle the remaining 7 and safe hole the ones that aren't yet as long as they have pipped internally. Is this the right thing to do? The 2 hatched and 1 zipping were all ones I had safe holed Thursday.
