Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I have the 48hr heaters for shipping. I thought that would keep them warm. Truthfully I have no idea what colors I will get. These eggs are from mixed parents. Parents are chocolate, blue, grey, and pastel. So you could get any mix of those colors. I dont think the person that is supposed to certify my flock will be here by the time they hatch, but if something changes I will let you know! I have another batch due in about 20 days or so.

Great idea with the 48h shipping heaters! So, you don't have any snowy or white? I really want a female snowy and a female white. I care nothing about certification. Just as long as they're sweet, cute, and cuddly baby calls!

Well it wouldnt be totally legal but if you want I will still ship to you.... I dont think I will get any snowy or white. Unless my ducks have some hidden genes I dont know about... Which could be totally true.

Your supposed to have papers to ship but not everyone follows those rules and the post office isnt too strict about checking. I dont know if Alabama needs papers though. Some states dont require papers.

I wondered about that. But in a truck as well as in a box along with one another, wrapped in multiple blankets, wouldn't they be okay?

When babies hatch they're kept under heat lamps at around 100 degrees. Do you think that it's 100 degrees inside the truck when it's 20 degrees or less outside? The box of the truck isn't heated. And the box they're in is full of ventilation holes for them to breathe so not much saving heat there. Heat packs are great but what if they don't last the full 2 days or shipping takes longer? Unnecessary risk of their little lives for impatience in my opinion.
