Call Ducks Finally Hatched

On day 17, I believe. I have them on a turner and the turner is turning.

His head is jet black and I haven't seen any pictures with a snowy with a black head just green

It will probably turn the green color as he ages.

Hey guys any idea why like 4 of my eggs are uspide down I think or something strange. I tried to get a pic but I cant take a pic of me candling the camera goes crazy because of the light, but it looks like some of the ducklings are only growing on one side of the egg and the other side is totally clear. But one side you can see the ducklings moving and a mess of veins. And there is this dark "line" that surrounds the duckling area. Kinda like this (I just quickly drew it in paint)

Are they shipped eggs?

What's the humidity at? did you sponge them, where is your temp at, do you have a fan or no fan?

Temp is 99. Sponging probably every other day. I always forget to sponge. no fan. I do not know exact humidity my humidity reader thingy on my thermostat broke.

I've only ever seen this if they don't get turned properly... is the air cell normal (in the fat end)? It almost makes me think that the air cells are where the embryo isn't growing which would be very odd placement for it!

It looks like it is. It might be that I kept these eggs in a cooler while waiting to gather enough to put in the bator and while in there I forgot to turn them....

Rise that temp up to about 101.5 to 102
