Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Nope my school is the top school for the central counties of mississippi we have regulated mac books, only thing we cant get on are no no sites. And plus  its mississippi everyone gets on farming websites.

Well, goodness, we're nearly neighbors! I'm in Louisiana. :)

GUYS I JUST TALKED TO HIM (yes all caps im so EXCITED)  it was a total misunderstanding , he has no ducklings avaliable but what he does have are adults that are breeding and laying. So either this weekend or next i will have at least 2 beautiful call ducks, probably  one snowy pair and one pied female. :bun  :cd :duc  :fl :yiipchick :ya  :highfive: :yesss: :jumpy :thumbsup

Congrats! There aren't many people in my area that have calls, and Snowys are nearly non-existent here. I am so excited to have mine. My first few eggs went into the incubator tonight! :D

Yeah i know, and the thing is his snows might not be good quality at all but i can always get show quality pied and non show quality snowy and breed them to get some better show quality snowys ( sorry if none of this makes since its early )

Okay guys, wgats the best food for the calls i feel like my food is way to big for them, since all of my ducks are one a show mens diet, theyre on natural vegetation and large amounts of vegetables, but also on corn and dog food. for the calls i feel that this food is way to big for them, so what is it that i could get at tractor supply that would be the best for calls/ what do you feed yours?

Wobbles eats MAzuri, but I admit the pellets are rather big and he can only handle them in water. Purina has nice, simple small pellets Pretty much any waterfowl feed is fine as long as it's non-medicated and the ducks still get plenty of grit and fresh veggies!

I know what you mean! You just wanna do right by the lil' guys and you always second guess yourself!

Mine get the Purina game bird feed

I don't think Learycow likes me much. I mean I get tormented with all those magpie pics and now THIS!!! lol

Have we every butt heads??? If so WHEN??? LOL
No!!! I don't pick fights with many ;)

You're splashes are gorgeous! I'm VERY new to the silkies so not sure what vaulted means? Mine are not from show quality stock so I don't know if that matters to you or not. I just wanted silkies to use as broodies for my call duck eggs so of course I HAD to go with painted since I am spot-obsessed!
