Call Ducks Finally Hatched

What should I do about the living egg? It hasn't made any progress in about 12 hours. It's still peeping and moving, but not as vigorously. How much longer should I wait before trying to peel away a bit of the shell?

If it was me, I usually help after 18 hrs of no progress, but I also know that most wouldn't until the 24 hr mark.

He's very sleepy, He can stand but lay's right back down Immediately, He drinks but when he does, he makes bubbles and wheezing sounds, If I don't give him anything, the wheezing goes away.  Seems like the legs are weak, Can only stand for just a moment.  He can skoot around, I have not seen him eat, He has pooped and pea very well, even does the tail wiggling thing.  I don't know what to do for him.  He can and is more stabled at holding his head up but doesn't hold his body up.

ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE......

I would try soupy food to see if you can at least get something in him.

Does he keep his eyes open? Does he peep?

Not a sound except the wheezing when he drinks.. When he does drink, he shakes his head a LOT, like he's shaking the water out. Then comes the bubbles, So I take a kleenex and suck up the water and then he's fine, wheezing goes away..

Can you get a size 8 tube from your vet? Looks like this:

I gave him a warm bath and he sneezed really hard and some sort of slimmy thin line of something, came out, I'm like YEHHHHH you go boy.. So we tried drinking again and sure enough the wheezing shaking his head and bubbles came back, so we got the kleenex, sucked up the water and now all is good again.. I know he can't survive like this.

Aweeee 29 Grams... LOL He's very alert but the wheezing thing. GRRR. I'm just afriad if I tube feed him that he's going to Up chuck all that right out of the nose?? and end up sufficating because of me..
