This picture is a prize. First of all the hen is so cute in all her round glory of puff and then the little duckling is killing me. Why oh why, is his face so cute and look at his webs. I need to log off now…..Hi, all! Congrats on all the recent hatchings - there are some adorable pics posted! I had a broody bantam hen that kept trying to steal eggs so I gave her a few call eggs. I went out to check on everyone this morning and she has 3 little Snowy ducklings. I am so excited! I wonder how confused she is about her babies?![]()

OH YES, it's starting to kicking. GUYS I THINK WE HAVE A FUTURE HATCHER HERE!!!
I've already got my husband talking about hatching our next batch. That'll have to wait until we move, though... we're at our limit for ducks here (city limits are 6 ducks or chickens). We're eyeing some property, though, at least a few acres, then I could have all the ducks I wanted.
