Call Ducks Finally Hatched

OMG. They grew up so fast :) I love how dark the blue pied is. The pastel is pretty too. Any ideas on sexes yet?

Yep, growing fast and outside now!!! lol :D

I am clueless unless they are all girls... all of them are VERY vocal, especially the pastel, lol...
Thank you so much for them, Tammy, they are so sweet and amazing! :)

oh good Thanks! The hatchery where I Bought my ducks from said to feed them that. Oh yea, you do need to drop mandarin chicks to get them to start eating. Weird but true.

I know. Think we talked about that last year lol. The breeder I got mine from told me that. Lost my male last year though so just have the hen in with my calls. Next year will be a new beginning for me though and I'm already dying to get it started lol.

You're very welcome. Glad you're happy with them. They very well may be all girls. The boys chatter but they don't have that loud fast quack quack quack quack that the girls do.

Until the extra calcium builds up in their livers over time because they're not using it and not able to digest it so then they die.  But hey.... you guys keep doing whatever suits you.  There's a reason why it's called "Layer"

Well I've been doing this since I have had ducks and haven't lost one to it yet.

They still have the raspy baby quack, but they all sound the same and do the quack quack quacks... could be wrong, idk... we'll see! :)

And I have a few more eggs in the bator from minihorse927, lol... :)
Good job wooo hooo

Ok well I guess I can end this mystery calcium death thing. According to what I have been feeding my ducks and I was feeding them all flock until they quit selling it at my feed store a while back. So I had to switch to all natural layer crumble. But and hoot the calcuim count lol is only. 0.04%. So I guess that explains a lot!
