Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Here's an interesting story, someone contacted with problems on hatching, well she ended up loosing a lot of them but did manage to get Two out.  They were really sticky.  So I told her, you have to go get more, she went to the person where she got the others from and the only eggs he had was the ones that he had put in the Fridge.  OMG, she was like OK.  I told her let them set and get room temp, chances aren't good that they were so cold but what the heck lets give it a shot.

So expecting them all to be DUDS, she email's me today and out of 12 refrigerated eggs, NINE OF THEM ARE DEVELOPING...  CRAZY. This should be a VERY interesting Hatching.. LOL

You will have to update us on that one as it progresses!!

Winter LOVES going on adventures in our backyard with her momma, Palmer!

And, her feathers are almost completely white now! Everyone who said they thought she would be a white Call was right! She sure is! And, I'm so happy! She is so beautiful!

Now i am getting teary looking at your pics again, AmandaVirginia. The pic of Winter cocking her head to one side kills me. And then the last one of her and Palmer side by side is soooo sweet. I love it.

OK, I did lose one, I don't think it was because of him being sticky, he actually had one of his vein wrapped around his neck, it was sooooo tight that it left an indent.

Perdy's second clutch of 12 eggs were outside in a snow/ice storm before I brought them in and all were fertile and developed!

Did any hatch out? if so, where there any issues such as stickiness or wetness?

I don't, I'm Soooo STRESSED OUT, I've been getting about 3 to 4 hours of sleep, we are sooo close and yet soooo far... GRRRRR.
